Our Favourite Hubble Pictures

Yesterday in Science we started learning about Rockets and Space. We had a look at different rockets that have been used for different purposes. We also discussed the distances between objects in space. Did you know that if the Earth was 10cm in diameter, the moon would sit 3 metres away from it! It certainly doesn't look like it is too far away at night!

Tumblewings!

On Monday in Room 4 we made tumblewings out of phone book paper. They are pretty easy to make but are tricky to fly! We have started practicing with them and hope to have a few people demonstrate how they work on Friday at Assembly.
